Sonel have introduced an Ultrasonic Test Meter to their extensive range of electrical test equipment.
The meter is a compact and portable designed to receive ultrasonic waves transmitted through the air. It converts the ultrasonic waves into an audible sound. A bar graph display also shows the level of the sound.
The meter can be used to locate the source of electric discharges form power lines, insulators, generators, transformers. It can also be used when searching for leaks in pneumatic and hydraulic systems and to check for leaks from water and gas supply installations.
