Elspec UGM 2025 in Amsterdam
Power Quality Expert attended the 3rd Elspec annual general meeting held in Amsterdam. Elspec produce a range of specialist power quality analysers utilising a patent technology, PQZIP, which allows their meters to store power measurements in a cycle by cycle resolution. Elspec also manufacturers power quality solutions including Power Factor Correction and Active Harmonic Filters.
During the week long event hosted by local agents HyTEPS, the attendees had presentations given by industry experts and network operators on the latest challenges facing the electrical network of Amsterdam and other EU countries as they move towards a net zero future.
A highlight of the week included a presentation on the Elspec power quality solutions in India where the Power Factor Correction solutions have evolved from a standard to a custom model. This flexible approach has allowed Elspec to evolve to the changing needs of Indian industries.
