Power Quality Expert is proud to announce that the Sonel MZC-306 fault loop impedance meter has gained product approval with Network Rail for use on their Signalling Power feeders. The meter is capable of working on electrification networks up to 750V making it ideal for the 650V network used by the railway industry.
The project with Network Rail has taken a number of years to complete and has involved many individuals during the various testing and approval stages. New firmware for the meters was developed by Sonel S.A. in conjunction with Power Quality Expert to ensure the meter met with Network Rails specific requirements for the testing of their Signalling Power feeders and the calculation of the PSCC/Ik measurements.
