Power Quality Expert was asked to present a Power Quality Seminar for Alpha Electronics in conjunction with the latest meters from the Sonel range of test equipment. The full day event covered a range of bespoke Power Quality and Energy related topics and was designed around their requirements and the interests of their invited customers. We were also able to introduce the attendees to a sample of some of the content that would be offered in our Power Quality Training course that will be launching towards the end of 2017, including –
- Energy Standards and Legislation including ESOS (Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme)
- Energy Efficiency Measurement Techniques for W, VAR, VA, Power Factor and Load Profiling
- Harmonic Measurements including G5/4 and Inter Harmonic Theory
We also presented a typical Survey Measurement Schedule as a quick reference guide to be used by electrical contractors and engineer. The afternoon of practical product demonstrations and power quality product training finished the seminar with all attendees happy with the knowledge and information presented to them.
