Description
The Exa series are microprocessor based energy meter analysers equipped with an RS485 Modbus RTU port. The meters provide an indication of the phase sequence and have four operating time counters in addition to more than one hundred measurements, with options for digital and analogue inputs and outputs.
The meters can perform the functions of energy analyser, counter and multimeter. Measures are made in True RMS by continuously sampling the waveforms of the voltages and currents. The automatic offset compensation of the internal amplifiers and of the angle error of the internal current transformers, ensure the maximum precision regardless the load variability in time, the signal level and the environmental conditions.
The sampling resolution of 64 bits ensures also a high accuracy of the energy measurement even in the presence of small loads such as when equipment is in a stand by mode.
