Description

The Sonel PVM-1530 Pro is a professional PV test kit for commissioning 1500V solar photovoltaic installations at solar farms and solar power plants.

The Pro kit comes complete with Sonel PVM-1530 solar PV I-V installation tester, Sonel IRM-1 solar irradiance meter and the Sonel CMP-1015-PV solar PV clampmeter.

Sonel PVM-1530

The Sonel PVM-1530 is a pioneering meter for photovoltaic installations up to 1500 V with such a substantial number of measurement functions. Their selection is done via a touch screen. The screen is large, colorful and with strong backlighting so that operation in full sunlight is not a problem. Extensive structural memory significantly reduces the time for preparing post-measurement documentation.

Toughness and durability

The meters perform well in harsh environmental conditions. Protection against the ingress of dust and water is provided by the housing rated at IP65 on the IRM-1, as the meter can act as an independent recorder. The PVM-1530’s case housing is rugged and sealed when closed to easily ensure that the meter is protected during measurement.

Sonel IRM-1

The Sonel IRM-1 is a small, simple and compact but indispensable for testing PV systems. By measuring solar radiation values. The meter is also able to measure panel and ambient temperatures, providing the necessary data to convert the results into STC conditions. A built-in recorder with a memory of 5000 records enables the instrument to be used as a tool in the PV plant design process, as well as to diagnose panel shading problems.

Sonel CMP-1015-PV

The Sonel CMP-1015-PV is dedicated to measuring AC and DC current and voltage in solar photovoltaic installations. The clampmeter is versatile due to its many measurement options. In addition to the basic measurements, the Sonel CMP-1015-PV is a datalogger and recorder with graphs. Working in full sun is also not difficult thanks to the clampmeters high brightness display.

Communication and software

Measurement data from the IRM-1 can be transferred to a computer via the USB port.  In addition, the device has a built-in wireless LoRa interface (Long Range) for automatic data exchange with the master meter – even over long distances.  Measurement data from the PVM-1530 can be transferred to a computer via wireless communication.  Saving the downloaded data to popular formats and printing ensured by Sonel Reader software. In order to generate a report on electric shock protection use the optional Sonel Reports PLUS software.

  • Measurement of U-I and P-U characteristics. Conversion to STC conditions.
