Green Energy test equipment from Power Quality Expert and Sonel

Power Quality Expert have introduced the new Sonel range of test meters for solar PV electrical installations to help test and inspect in accordance with Section 712. The range includes the Sonel MPI-540-PV which is one of the 18th edition prosumer multifunction testers. In addition to the required wiring tests the meter has integrated power quality logging along with the capability to make solar PV measurements in accordance with IEC 62446. For measuring and recording current, the Sonel CMP-1015-PV is a data logging graphical clamp meter able to make measurements downstream from variable frequency converters on a solar PV system. For testing the power and electrical safety of a photovoltaic system, the Sonel PVM-1020 kit comes complete with a solar voltaic meter and irradiance meter for the testing of a panel or chain of panels up to 1000V DC.
