The ECA Project 18 Roadshow continued in Leeds and Manchester where ECA members got to learn more about Amendment 2 of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and the business opportunities it provides them.
As sponsors of the event, Power Quality Expert were able to demonstrate the Sonel MPI-540 Prosumer Multifunction Tester and how it is able to perform the wiring tests required for BS7671 and also monitor and record energy and power quality for LV prosumer installations now covered in Part 8 of the new amendment.
Monitoring and measurement of fixed installations with sub-metering along with load management from Electrex was also on display with practical demonstrations on how EMS (Energy Management System) software can be integrated into customers existing installations to help them monitor and save energy.
