Sonel have launched the MIC-2511 2.5kV Insulation Resistance Meter capable of making electrostatic discharge measurements when used alongside with the ESD test kits Sonel PRZ-2 and Sonel PRS-2.
The ESD test kits have been designed for measurement specialists who supervise and need to ensure ESD zones are protected against the effects of electrostatic discharge (EPA). The probes in the PRS-2 kit can be used to measure surface and material resistance values.
The PRS-1 probe included in the PRZ-2 kit is a specially shaped triangle probe which can be used to check the insulation resistance of floors and walls. The probe will allow for tests to be made in accordance with the HD 60364-6 guidelines and EN 1081 standards.
The ESD test kits are precisely manufactured in accordance with the guidelines of international standards IEC 61340-5-1, IEC 61340-5-2 and ANSI/ESD 20.20.
