The Sonel MPI-540 series are much more than Multi Function Testers. The MPI-540 and MPI-540-PV combine the measuring capabilities of Electrical Installation Testers with the functionality of a Class S single/three phase Power Quality Logger to enable measurements of voltage, current, harmonics and THD (Total Harmonic Distortion). The meters are also able to test Electrical Vehicle charging points by using the optional Sonel EVSE-01 adapter.
The Sonel MPI-540-PV will can also test Solar PV installations in accordance with the guidelines of EN62446. The measured parameters related to the photovoltaic installation are automatically converted by the meter to the STC (Standard Test Conditions) reference conditions. Measurements of voltage, current and power on the AC and DC side of the inverter allow verification of the installations efficiency.
The meters are easy to use with a 7 inch colour touch screen and have a built in help system. The help screens show measurement diagrams to allow you to check how to connect the meter depending on the type of measurement you want to perform.
The Sonel MPI-540 series are the only multi function testers to be approved on the UK Governments Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) Energy Technology List (ETL).
