Power Quality Expert approved as Stakeholder with the Energy Technology List

The Carbon Trust has approved the Power Quality Expert range of Sonel Power Quality Analysers PQM-700, PQM-702, PQM-703, PQM-710, PQM-711 for inclusion on the government Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (formerly BEIS – Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy) Energy Technology List.

The list was established by the UK Government and was created along with the Energy Capital Allowance scheme to help businesses in the UK off set the cost of energy-saving products against taxable profits.

About the Energy Technology List

The Energy Technology List (ETL) is a scheme featuring over 8,000 independently verified and accredited energy efficient products across 62 sub-technology groups, backed by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ).

The ETL helps contribute to net zero goals by increasing access to stringently tested products. It provides free, impartial support and information, enabling purchasers to easily compare product features and performance across suppliers so that UK businesses and the public sector can make greener energy choices.

All products listed, ranging from boilers and electric motors to refrigeration, have met a robust set of criteria and are placed in the top 25% of the market for energy efficiency in their class.

With nearly 17,000 of the world’s top performing energy-saving products the technology list it is a key reference for all UK businesses to identify good quality products which can help save energy and money.
