Simple and ergonomic short circuit loop impedance meter from Sonel include the handheld Sonel 20E and Sonel 304F.

The Sonel MZC-306 can measure short circuit impedance with a resolution of 0.01 ohm on electrical networks with an operating voltage of 110/190V, 115/200V, 127/220V, 220/380V, 230/400V, 240/415V, 290/500V, 400/690V (operating range 100V to 750V)

The Sonel MZC-306R variant is Network Rail PADS approved for use on their 650V electrification system under the Network Rail Certificate of Acceptance PA05/07453 and catalogue number 0092/010414.    The Sonel MZC-306R measures Ik sometimes called PSCC (Prospective Short Circuit Current).

Sonel loop meters meet the requirements of EN 61010-1, EN 61010-031, EN 61326, EN 61557, HD 60364-6, HD 60364-4-41 and EN 04700.
