The MZC-340-PV has the ability to measure very low short circuit loop impedances (with a resolution of 0.1 mΩ) with a measurement current of 130A at 230V; 305A at 550V AC and 250A at 900V AC. The meter measures using the four wire (4P) method, in which the measuring wires do not affect the value of the measured impedance.
Intended for solar photovoltaic farms, the MZC-340-PV can also be used to carry out measurements on other renewable sites such as wind farms as well as low voltage transformer substations and even in heavy industry.
