Description

Harmonic current limits apply to every consumer connected to the Electrical Supply including domestic, commercial, retail, administrative, commercial and industrial users. Our harmonic current emissions survey provides a report on an installations performance when referenced against harmonic current levels defined in G5/4-1 Stage 1 and IEC standards.

By using these limits we can help identify harmonic currents over recommended levels to help recommend and correctly size harmonic filters to ensure compliance with your electrical suppliers connection agreement and reduce the source of the distortion.

The survey is conducted over a 7 day / 1 week period and monitors the following electrical parameters

  • A – Current
  • Hz – Fundamental Current Frequency
  • THD I – Total Harmonic Distortion of Current
  • Ih up to 40th – Odd and Even Current Harmonics (Absolute and Relative Measurements)

Measurement up to 50th harmonic is available on request. Please contact us to discuss the level of harmonic measurement required.
