Description

Voltage Harmonic Distortion can be an indication of the power quality of your electrical supply and also your compliance with harmonic distortion limits. Our voltage harmonic distortion compliance survey monitors voltage level definitions referenced in G5/5, EN50160 and IEC Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) documents to provide a report on an installations voltage harmonic and distortion.

By using these limits we can help identify harmonics over recommended levels to help recommend and correctly size harmonic filters to ensure compliance with your electrical suppliers connection agreement and reduce the source of the distortion.

The survey is conducted over a 7 day / 1 week period and monitors the following electrical parameters

  • V – Voltage
  • Hz – Fundamental Voltage Frequency
  • THD V – Total Harmonic Distortion of Voltage
  • Vh up to 40th – Odd and Even Voltage Harmonics (Relative Measurements)

Measurement up to 50th harmonic is available on request. Please contact us to discuss the level of harmonic measurement required.
