The Sonel CMP-3000 belongs to a new generation of Sonel clamp meters by combining innovation, durability and high-tech solutions.

Why is it so special? Thanks to its equipment and capabilities.

The standard flexible current probe (Rogowski coil) with a diameter of up to 160 mm provides easy and safe measurements of AC current up to 3000 A, significantly improving the performance of tests on busbars or industrial switchgear.  The current probe connects to the meter with a 170 cm long test lead. This makes the Sonel CMP-3000 able to work away from the live parts.

The user can keep a greater distance and control of the meter with the Sonel Multimeter Mobile application. The application provides communication with the meter via Bluetooth. With its help you can use the CMP-3000 as a recorder, and in addition, observe parameters, save results, create reports or remotely control special functions – e.g. INRUSH current measurement.

The meter’s integrated clamp has been designed to allow for testing in hard-to-reach and tight places. The clamp has a protrusion on the top of the jaws which has a non-contact voltage indicator.  By bringing the jaw near to a live wire the LED diode will light to indicate any voltage detection.

In response to the needs of engineers and electricians, the meter has designed to included a number of other features. The CMP-3000 has been equipped with a flashlight to allow the illumination of the measurement point, as well as a rubber casing to help increase the reliability of the grip and the mechanical strength. The professional clamp comes complete with a carrying case that holds both the meter and its accessories.
